CV wrote: It's the result of the Church trying to keep up with times. It's very rare to find a church that will adhere to the true biblical standards for women. Most churches, when they expound the biblical role of woman, will gush with apologies and qualify with "but", and how really really important they are. Their importance IS there, but the women are talked to as if they are spiritual unregenerates. An unregenerate MAN cannot understand the slave, an absolute bond-servant,broken, humble nature of his relationship with regards to Christ. It's crazy to him. But that's the truth. Why is it that the church is afraid, as if women won't be able to handle the role God has established for them...Women weren't supposed to wear men's clothing. None of this sell-able today. The cults have also caused much damage in this area. The husband/wife was a modeled after Christ/Church. None of this sell-able today. It's one area where the hardness of our hearts is acquiesced to. Most pastors will capitulate here because they want to be liked. Nice comment was spot on. Finally someone who understand the lifestyle of the slave. Contact me if you wish. Love to talk! |

Daniel Michael wrote: Since the so-called pro-lifers are pro-vaccine they are therefore not pro-lifers, just another bunch of sickos. You hit the nail on the head my friend. Talk about a contradiction, huh? Try telling those who champion the rights of the unborn about the dangers of vaccines and they will most likely report you to Child Services. |

EP wrote: I don't believe that was what Frank said and if you think 9th commandment violations are comical, you might want to rethink why God doesn't think so. Great...I've offended someone again. |

Rick wrote: It's like on that show Lost, All those seasons, all the twist and turns, traveling back and forth trhough time, being rescued, going back to the island, the big explanation of the final episode: They all died when the plane crashed. The whole thing was an afterlife hallucination. Seriously though: you almost have to feel sorry for someone like Camping he is obviously senile. ...and he looks like Mr. Burns as well...poor guy. |

BCO wrote: If ]]Mosab Hassan Yousef had been put to death by Navy Seals on the night he repented and prayed to Christ for salvation, wouldn't he be in Heaven? However, wouldn't most of us presume that he would be in Hell? Likewise, if bin Laden repented of his sins and followed Christ the evening before his death, wouldn't he be saved from the fires of Hell and be considered a friend of God and not evil? If this is impossible, then what hope do any of us have whose "heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked, who can know it?" (Jer 17:9). It will be shocking to us when we discover who's in Heaven and who's in Hell. That's my point exactly. God saves and can save in an instant. We have no right to judge anyone's salvation. There are many who seem very spiritual and they will undoubtedly end up in hell and many who seem very worldly (or at-least don't flow with the status quo), and they will go to heaven. God saves, and can save at any time He chooses. |
