Israel was to make no league with the inhabitants of Canaan—Judges 2:2. I am not aware of any prohibition against their forming alliances with nations outside of the Promised Land.
There are two important passages of scripture that indicate that God has never abandoned Israel and never will: (1) the Old Testament and (2) the New Testament. Church is not spelled I-s-r-a-e-l, and the sooner Christians realize that God has an everlasting covenant with the descendants of Jacob the better.
Jim, if you would spend more time studying the Bible (that is, if you ever actually get a real Bible) and less time studying the scribblings of liberal meatheads, you would know that often the whole of scripture is referred to as God ‘s law.
Great point, Steve O. Jim, we’re ecstatic that you finally had the character to acknowledge that Trump was elected at least in part because people were getting sick of being poor under Obama. I wouldn’t worry too much about the Democratic majority in the House reversing the progress the Trump administration has made. Since 2008, Congress has been rendered obsolete anyway.
Jim, when you factor in doing violence to the truth, conservatives can’t hold a candle to liberals. BTW, thanks for the latest rerun. How many times does that make now that you have posted the same information?
Many visible churches are growing, Adriel. They are the ones that take the Great Commission seriously. In other words, they are churches with Acts 20:20 vision.
Interesting article, Jim. While reading the Christian Post, I hope you also read the article “Mexican journalist reveals the truth about the caravan.” And the truth is it’s just what Trump says it is: a rapacious gang of hoodlums and thugs hiding behind a bunch of women and children.
Yes, QC, but of course I was referring to sub-Saharan Africa, or the region formerly known as “Guinea.” I am quite certain that those who so ardently defend their ancestors’ ownership of black Africans (and subsequent Jim Crow laws) would be aghast if the shoe were on the other foot and the darker-hued folks ran vast plantations using the blood, sweat and tears of the lighter-toned one.
