This is NOT about a war between denominations; this is about unregenerates posing as believers. This is about priests/pastors/elders who are really wolves, they seek to fulfill their lustful desires and bring hurt to those they abuse.
I wouldn't be so quick to claim those involved in the sex abuse scandal were willing to cooperate with authorities, it seems this was covered up as all involved remained silent, especially Mahaney.

You made reference to a 'gobshite' 6 days back on a news thread about 'Greeting Cards'-though there is nothing about such in the article.
gobshite:Loud-mouthed person who talks a lot, but nothing with any value etc.
It would be offensive in England, but some might think it fits certain RC promoters on here?
Of course you used an opportunity to help Christopher see what another poster meant and .
The problem is that a Rc, an ecumenist, a conspiracy lover, arminians, Calvinists, Fundies and a whole host of others are going to comment. And you are right, we need to disagree in the right manner, but where!  |

Hi ladybug....just wanted to encourage you in your ongoing posts with some of the menfolk....seems like to me they are mixing justification and santification together.
We can claim none of this great work of justification at all.
God: the Father chose a people, the Son died for them, and the Holy Spirit makes Christ's death effective by bringing the elect to faith and repentance, thereby causing them to willing obey the gospel.
Thus God, not man, determines who will be the receipents of salvation.
Makes us say with Mr. Bonar...Not What My Hands Have Done Can Save My Guilty Soul; Not What I Feel Or Do Can Give Me Peace With God! |

Thanks to JuneAnnette for posting articles on the abominations of the priestcraft of Roman Catholicism.
Keep it up sister...some on this forum need to have it in their face as they continue to defend this putrid religion. |

As a former RC, but now saved by Gods grace and a debtor to mercy alone, I agree with your comments, how does the love of God abide in anyone who is saved who would not tell others the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ!
I too appreciate the ministry of Ralph Ovadal and Richard Bennett. |

I would agree concerning parachurch organizations . If you read my first post on this matter, that is what I had stated. We are pretty much in agreement in this matter, but some have no local church and have to gather with other believers when and where the Lord provides...in these dark days where I live the closest doctrinally sound church is over a 100 miles from us. So we do what we can. Always abounding in the work of the Lord with great joy. |
