I do agree with the article but not the comments on sermonaudio from youth in asia on the church in China.this sounds to me like a discourager of Christs sheep.they offer no evidence to demonstrate their assertion that the huge church in china is largely fake.if the Almighty Holy Spirit has done a wonderful work and we have the audacity to denigrate it that is dangerous ground we are on.we must tread very carefully

The modern church has embraced the world.It tries to be the world.The truth is the world do the world much better-eg entertainment. No a truly seeking soul finds no satisfaction in this world and when the church uses the God appointed means that he has promised to bless (preaching and simple unadulterated acts of worship) then the Holy Spirit comes.The seeking souls may experience great love and joy in meeting God in their souls.

Alasdair has the right answer there.
But it is not only society which has suffered the declension of satanic Liberal influence but the church/Kirk has gone the way of the world too. No longer is the church Bible believing, no longer do they walk with Sovereign God in the accuracy of Calvinist/Reformed Bible doctrines.
History shows that the church went from the doctrinal accuracy of Calvinism to Arminianism which consequently led to todays Liberal nonsense. The result is apostasy.
Knox brought the true Presbyterian Reformed Church and doctrine into Scotland from Geneva but since then in the intervening centuries we have observed the heresies and apostate ideologies creep into churches and denominations. No longer do the churches cleave to God's Holy Writ but instead delete and reject doctrines precepts and statutes, and even the Covenant of Grace has suffered renunciation and abdication in many quarters of historic ecclesiastical persuasion.

Like the Liberal sodomites, Satan is trying to reach the future generation and plant the seeds of corruption in them at a time when the church appears to be in failure mode.
The future is more than bleak it is hellish.
There are already children growing up and on our streets who do not know who Jesus is. Even the simplest of religious education we used to get in school is now defunct. The society belongs to Satan as does the future.
