Shane wrote: It is a sad thing... When some of God's redeemed people, choose to not defile their conscience by voting for the lesser of two evils, only to be condemned and blamed for the outcome. Condemnation for casting your ballot in the prayer closet? Did God call his chosen people out of Egypt just so they could ask for a king like the other nations have? Well, their King came to them. God the son, in the flesh, and they rejected him. But God's will was accomplished in the death and resurrection of his Son. Even though they cast their vote against him. The point is, God is sovereign over everything, caring for his young, whether they are in Egypt, Babylon, USA, or anywhere else on the earth. |

Sister ladybug, Once again thank you for always being an encouragement. Another quote from A.W. "One breath of Paradise will extinguish all the adverse winds of earth" ... Thanks to you also brother Frank who is a voice of reason among the caviling spirits that are double minded in their ways. |

penned wrote: I think Christians are to blame if instead of clearly saying, stop letting men go into girls bathrooms they argue about where the sin started. who cares where the sin started? there is a problem. I figure we could take things back really far on that... all the way back to the serpent and the first man and woman... point being, that this is how the enemy keeps the church from having effect, through angry Christians pounding those trying to make a difference. (pietism likes to blame, but never act) for once, why can we not just agree?..."this is awful", show up at city counsel meeteings together and speak the truth in love? or wherever we may be in solidarity? ... I think the constant bickering among brethren is a safer place than having to actually face the confused world. I wonder if our "ethics" guys find it safer to chastise the brethren for having effect where God has positioned them, than to walk into the web of satan's work? I can guarantee to you that those disrobed girls aren't caring who you or I originally blame, they just don't want to be disrobed in front of men? if we love people, we'll get beyond the bickering and if we love Christ, we will be a voice of reason to this confused society in HIS NAME. Yep! |

BRF wrote: While I don't believe Roman Catholicism is Christina but another gospel. We must all ask ourselves each day am I a Christian? Do I live and act in a Christ like way, we are very good at seeing the faults of others and accusing others of not being Christians, but what about ourselves, humility is still a Christ like virtue. Are we living the faith once delivered to the saints. |

Now moderators, I didn’t use any names, so this was not a personal attack and it does pertain to the article. If the shoe fits, then simply put it on, if not ignore this comment. In any event, I will not respond to anyone who objects to this post. Some on here are obviously way beyond my spiritual walk and I simply can’t compare my thoughts with theirs. The tongue of the learned has spoken... So good to read a common sense post, thank you brother. |

B, Angry?...no, disgusted. It is encouraging to know that our success in the Christian life does not depend on the opinions or attitudes of other Christians. God is the Judge, and He is able to make us stand. Let us all be busy working for the Lord; then we will not have the time or inclination to be investigating the lives of our brethren. We can pray, advise, and even admonish, but we cannot "play God". When Jesus Christ is our Lord, we must let Him to deal with His own as He wishes. Btw: we are abstainers, have no television, don't smoke or chew or go with those who do. So I am not defending a pet sin, but will defend my brethrens right of private judgement. Good evening. |
