"Fascism is a political system whereby all opposition to and dissent from the government is disallowed and crushed. Fascism is a philosophy which tolerates no deviation from an established norm, that being the dictates of a powerful elite.Fascism is opposed to the eternal, unchanging, objective law of God and is based on the subjective desires and goals of those who have the power to crush their opposition. In many Western nations,a form of fascism has taken root and presents a clear, present, and growing danger to Christian liberty and the Church of Jesus Christ. This force for evil may justly be referred to as "homo-fascism" due to the fact that those espousing and driving it have as their goal to demonize, marginalize, and silence any criticism of or opposition to homosexual acts and the sodomite agenda.Already Christians in many countries are being arrested for preaching what the Bible teaches concerning homosexual acts. The machinery of tyranny is being put into place." Pastor Ovadal

[John McCain's selection of Alaska Governor Sarah Palin as his Vice Presidential running mate was exactly what he needed to do to make himself competitive against Barack Obama in the November elections. (For the record, I predicted three weeks ago that Palin would be his choice.) As a result (and right on cue), conservatives throughout the country--especially Christian conservatives--are now fully supporting McCain's candidacy for President. Even James "I-will-never-vote-for-John-McCain" Dobson has endorsed McCain.

... Governor Palin is a true conservative. She is pro-life. She is pro-Second Amendment.....She was rightly critical of the invasion of Iraq, once calling it a "war for oil." Speaking of oil, she believes we should drill for oil in Alaska and throughout the U.S., ..
In essence, Sarah Palin is everything that John McCain isn't. Which leads to the question that was asked long ago by the Hebrew prophet: "Can two walk together, except they be agreed?" ]

Which is why I'm voting for 2 Christians-Baldwin/Castle!
NOT just a choice of 2 parties, and voting for the bottom part of a ticket, (even apart from Isaiah 3:10-12) can't really do much to clean up McCAIN's blot.

Isaiah 3:12

After watching a week of ridiculous attacks on Sarah Palin which so clearly exposed, yet again, the rank hypocrisy of the left and their lapdog media, I was almost ready to vote for McCain and Palin myself. Almost.

But I won't. I was never keen on McCain to begin with, and his decision to add a woman to his ticket sealed my decision. I won't vote for them. Why? Because I'm a sexist (as many accuse)? No. But because I'm a theist.

I believe in the God of the Bible and I want to see my life conducted according to His Word, and the life of our nation reflect the teaching of His Word. I will not throw my vote behind the Christ-hating egalitarian agenda of the socialist elitists of this nation.

Egalitarianism, as defined by the elitists, is the design to erase all distinctions between males and females from society. If you have not noticed this agenda pushed in our society, you are either hopelessly naïve or just plain stupid. I could give examples from every aspect and quarter of our culture.

Cajoled by his counsel, synod apparatchiks will run roughshod over presbytery prerogatives. This is the stuff of a dying denomination, bringing to mind a Middle Ages moment, when a moribund Roman Catholic bureaucracy believed it could silence Luther, Calvin, Knox and others with book burnings, inquisitions and princely proclamations. It didn’t work then, and it won’t work now. "

]]John Peter Muhlenburg.
In a sermon delivered to his Virginia congregation on January 21, 1776, he preached verse by verse from Ecclesiastes 3 – the passage which speaks of a season and a time to every purpose under heaven. Arriving at verse 8, which declares that there is a time of war and a time of peace, Muhlenburg noted that this surely was not the time of peace; this was the time of war. Concluding with a prayer, and while standing in full view of the congregation, he removed his clerical robes to reveal that beneath them he was wearing the uniform of an officer in the Continental army! He marched to the back of the church; ordered the drum to beat for recruits and nearly three hundred men joined him, becoming the Eighth Virginia Brigade. John Peter Muhlenburg finished the Revolution as a Major-General, having been at Valley Forge and having participated in the battles of Brandywine, Germantown, Monmouth, Stonypoint, and Yorktown.
Reverend James Caldwell replenished wadding (essential to ammunition) by running inside the church and getting the hymn books to use the pages of Watts' hymnal as wadding to shoot at the Brits!
"Give 'em Watts, boys!” they cried

note the Church said "“You’ll be encouraged by the power of God’s love and His desire to

transform

the lives of those impacted by homosexuality,” according to the insert in the bulletin of the Wasilla Bible Church

Rom 12:1-2 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Fox, here, is using the communist/sodomite/evolutionist/pagan Associated Press for their text, and the Associated Press adds the Sodomite disparaging label of 'pray away the gay'. This kind of 'bait and switch' takes the focus off God's Word.
INTRINSIC to this is mockery of what
is actually being said.

Note the propaganda label of Focus
"a national Christian fundamentalist organization" rather than, as Focus is actually, an evangelical organization.
fundamentalist?Jihad?

Were the AP honest(HA!)the article would have worded it, "Palin, campaigning with McCain in the Midwest on Friday, has not publicly expressed a view on the what is mockingly called “pray away the gay” movement."

Witherspoon on why ministers should be able to serve in State legislatures.
]]Should Christians - Or Ministers - Run For Office?
Today's critics assert that Christians should not be involved with politics or government, and especially that ministers should not be involved. Such opposition is not new. In fact, two centuries ago, Founding Father John Witherspoon delivered a sagacious rebuttal to these same objections.

John Witherspoon (1723-1794) was a distinguished Founding Father - the president of Princeton University, a signer of the Declaration of Independence, and a ratifier of the U.S. Constitution. He served on over 100 committees in Congress and was head of the Board of War (essentially, he was the congressional "boss" for Commander-in-Chief George Washington). But John Witherspoon was also a minister of the Gospel-he was the Rev. Dr. John Witherspoon! In fact, Dr. Witherspoon was the Billy Graham of his day - one of the most famous American ministers of that era, with volumes of published Gospel sermons.
...
Interestingly, when Georgia wrote its third Constitution in 1798, a strong declaration of the rights of religious persons was inserted-a vast change from its first Constitution.

God's word vs. constitution interpretation..

Howard Friedman -Religion Clause blog- on Palin’s commitment to the constitution over Scripture when governing:

"Her respect for the state constitution was illustrated by her first veto as governor. Alaska’s Supreme Court had ordered the state to provide health benefits to same-sex partners of public employees, finding that this was mandated by the state constitution’s equal protection clause. Palin vetoed a subsequent attempt by the legislature to enact legislation to take away the same-sex benefits. After being advised by the state attorney general that the legislation was unconstitutional, she said that signing the bill would be in direct violation of her oath of office. (Anchorage Daily News, Dec. 29, 2006 article.)"

http://dwb.adn.com/news/government/legislature/story/8525563p-8419318c.html

Governor Palin laid aside Biblical convictions against state funded health benefits for the sodomite partners of state employees and
vetoed legislation that would have denied them
because she was afraid the constitution of the State of Alaska, as presently written, could be argued to allow for them. She was afraid to oppose her attorney general's opinion and take this issue to court.
AFRAID to
"stand up to the courts." Coghill

"McCain has taken the position that once Roe v. Wade is overturned, the issue of abortion can properly be left to the state governments for decision. But the moral premise of our republican form of government, the premise that makes the consent of the people necessary for just government, is the Declaration principle that all human beings are endowed by God with unalienable rights, including first of all the right to life. If the states can pass laws that depart from this premise, it means they are not required to preserve the foundations of republican form of government. But "if the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?" (Ps 11:3)McCain's position not only discards the Declaration's first principle of justice,it also violates Article IV,Section 4,of the U.S. Constitution, which requires the federal government to guarantee a republican form of government in all of the states. Thus as a matter of constitutional principle,John McCain departs from good conscience.

This is the closing part.
" For as Jesus taught His disciples, Thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen."

Looking at his church web site, I can find not a SINGLE QUOTE of scripture.
(ref. to verses, but no quotes)
It is interesting that this particular ending is used.
This last sentence is omitted by NU Text, by all the modern translations except MKJV, NKJV, LITV. On what basis? Only Aleph, B, Z and D of the uncials omit the doxology, joined by Tertullian, the Italic and Vulgate versions, and Cyprian and Origen of the early Fathers. Yet thousands of mss. have it, and nearly all the 2nd century versions except the Old Latin.

"For thine is the Kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen" omitted by DR, RV, Ne, NIV, NKJV marg., RSV, GN, LB, NSRB marg., NEB, NWT, JB. AMP italicises the words, NASV places them in brackets, indicating "words probably not in the original writings (sic)."

As one pastor I spoke to this June
about this exact prayer ending,
this man was trained with an Authorised Bible, and probably has no real care that it is cut out of 'bibles' used by his S.B.members.

look in your Bible for the voter's guide: Ex 18:21.

If Moses, when he commanded the Tribes to choose their rulers, enjoined upon them an obligation to pick only qualified rulers, are we permitted to do otherwise? ... We are not free to commit sins of presumption, presuming upon the Grace of God, expecting Christ’s atonement covers such sins. Heb 10:26ff.

... as for our obligation of obedience to the general principles, we are not exempt from the necessity of obedience. .. “To [the Hebrew Republic], as a body politic, [God] gave sundry judicial laws, which expired together with the state of that people, not obliging any other, now, further than the general equity thereof may require.”
So the question for us is, “What are the rules of General Equity that we learn about voting, to which we must conform?” First, we must understand that we cannot vote for any man whom God has not chosen. ...
We know who God has chosen by measuring the candidate against God’s voter’s guide. We may lawfully only vote for such candidates who love God, are able, faithful, and hate covetousness.

God regulates for whom his Covenant people can vote? really?
