Good post, Jim. Let's just redefine the word "illegal"
But to answer the question "What would Jesus do?", I offer this parallel...
And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment: And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless. Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast [him] into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. For many are called, but few [are] chosen. (Mat. 22:11-14)
This is the real Jesus - not their invented Jesus!
Christopher000, I have enjoyed reading your posts up to this point but I object to how you began this post. Unless you were actually praying to God with those first three words, you were mimicking an ungodly and disrespectful saying of the unsaved.
Please edit your post if you can or ask a SA monitor to do it for you.
(Most) Evangelical Leaders? Ah,the rock and rollers, the rappers, the social gospel trumpeters, the modern version Bible lovers, and the ecumenism promoters - no surprise at all.
A Real Eye Opener If you don't think you need improvement in the area of favoritism, think twice, pray hard and listen to this sermon. I have been truly blessed to have been admonished, reproofed and encouraged by this message even though I didn't think I needed it!
Westcott and Hort wrote up their own Bible, designed to accomodate their already existing beliefs/religion. In this world there is only one authorized Bible! and the rests are FAKE Pseudo Bibles.
Great Sermon! Some great practical application of scripture. "How many times have you said enough is enough, but went right back to the poison well of the same old sin?" "It's not about performance it is about perseverance!"
Interesting sermon I haven't heard a lot of this before and I'll be prayerfully considering it. Regardless of how accurate the interpretation turns out to be, you correctly point out that Revelation is indeed a revelation of Jesus Christ and that we are able to keep the words of the prophesy.
Solution? A simple solution to this problem is to pray for our leaders to have good judgement and make good decisions for our people/country.
We all fall, so lets get up and improve.
