Pope Francis is not a nut-job, he's just doing the bidding of his Jesuit masters. Support for abortion and the homosexual agenda will continue in an effort to reduce the global population and undermine the family unit, the threat of global warming will raised to further the cause of the one world government, etc, etc.

Even the Bible says the government has the authority to bear swords (Rom 13:4). It's how these weapons are used is the issue here. Weapons manufacturers do have a role to play in supporting the rule of law by insuring those weapons go to the right people. The government has a role to play in insuring weapons are not misused by the people. Beyond that I don't think companies can be held responsible for how their weapons are used.

It's not a communist plot, it's a satanic plot. Satan has always tried to destroy everything God has created.

We're all 'born that way', we're all born sinners, we all need to repent. But being sinners, we tend to justify the sin. It's not murder, it's just terminating an unwanted pregnancy. It's not sodomy, it's gay marriage. It's not drunkenness, it's alcoholism, etc, etc.

Linux is completely free, and installs on most hardware without the need to search for drivers. The software that runs on it is mostly free. It is far more stable that Windows, far more secure, you don't need to defrag all the time, and you don't get viruses.

I do still have Windows on my laptop to run certain programs that Linux doesn't have. But if you can find alternatives for those, why use Windows?

These are the symptoms of a sick society. A doctor can treat symptoms, but that doesn't deal with the heart of the problem. We need to preach the gospel, morality will follow that.

God hasn't chosen some people to be saved and others to be lost. Yes, God foreknows who will be saved because He is outside of time and knows the end from the beginning. He has chosen us "in Christ", that is, God has chosen those who will believe in His Son to be saved.

There are many different elect groups mentioned in Scripture. Elect angels, Israel was called God's elect in the Old Testament - and we know all Israel won't be saved, there were elect believers. Election has nothing to do with personal salvation in Scripture, it is to do with sanctification.

Peter says it is the will of God for "all men to be saved, and to come to the knowledge of the truth". That contradicts the idea that God has already chosen who would be saved and who would be lost.

Throwing stones at glass houses means the same as finding fault with others when you yourself have a greater fault. So what's the point in this news? It's not as if he is quoting chapter and verse. He is paraphrasing. I'm no Obama fan, but give people the benefit of doubt.

I am also friends with Christine on facebook. She made a brave stand for her Lord, and I am shocked that people on this website have the gall to criticize a fellow believer in Christ for doing that.

God never created hell for the punishment of people. It was created "for the devil and his angels".

It has been said that one of Satan's greatest achievements was to make people believe he doesn't exist. Seems even the satanists themselves are falling for it...

"Jesus himself would have been astonished to learn that thousands of years after him there were such notions afloat."

Jesus Himself would know, period. He is God manifest in flesh. And He would not be astonished either, for He knows our thoughts afar off.

The author needs to understand there are many "types" of the rapture in the Old and New Testament. Enoch, Isaac and Rebecca, the parable of the Ten Virgins. To discount these simply because the word "rapture" itself is not in the Bible (and it is in the Vulgate) is disingenuous.

It's not "open to all". It is still illegal for a brother to marry a sister, a mother to marry her son, a father to marry her daughter, and for a man to have multiple wives.

I really wish they would stop trumpetting this as a victory for equality, it is not. It is a lowering of the standards of morality and a watering down of the true meaning of marriage.

I can't help but feel that Islam has become a judgement on the nations for rejecting God. When Israel went astray, God let their enemies carry them away captive to Assyria and Babylon. Today Islam is dominating our culture because the nations are turning their backs on God.

"If my people which are called by My name shall humble themselves and pray"...

I've watched my cat trying to lick itself clean out of instinct while wearing a medical collar around its neck. I've yet to see a human perform the same feat by "instinct".
