The mere fact this misguided lay-pastor felt that he has to orchestrate his method of worship to accomadate a certain group reveals who he is really trusting! And it's not Jesus of Nazareth.
The problem with this so called "emerging church" is just that! An "emrging church"; which makes it another church outside the pale of the true Church since it hails a different kind of Jesus and prclaims a new gospel. Spurgeon would simply say it's part of the present "Downgrade movement."
As God's ransomed we have two options: 1)Become pessimistic and lose hope. or 2)Be optimistic and Learm from sacred history that in the darkest times God's mercy shines the brightest.
