sc talks about context, and yet there is no context in scripture that suggest that wine is anything other than an alcoholic beverage. She didn't even try to refute the points I made, but instead pulls a Jim Lincoln and says go to this website.

I'm not about to get into it with such a sanctimonious person. Her posts are overflowing with hubris.

I would like to know how being extremely careless isn't gross negligence? Intent doesn't matter if there was gross negligence.

Hacker Guccifer found dead in jail cell. One of the hackers involved in the Clinton email scandal.

Add him to the long list of people connected to Hillary who end up dead.

It should be obvious by now that the rule of law doesn't apply to those in the government. How far will it go before the governed say enough is enough?

The Passover cup Jesus drank had to be fermented since the grape harvest would have been longer over and any juice that far past the harvest would have to have been fermented (no other way to keep it preserved).

Connor writes:
I would like to note that it really matters not what Jewish tradition says

In this case it does because it sheds light on the situation and provides the context sc was talking about. According to Jewish wedding tradition, they always had fermented wine. If he had made grape juice and not wine, the master of the feast would have said something. Also, the greek word for drunk in John 2:10 is methuo which means to be drunken or intoxicated. Its the same word Peter used in Acts 2:15 to defend against the accusation of being drunk. That should really put an end to the argument, but I suspect it won't.

The Bible is pretty clear from cover to cover that wine is a fermented drink that can intoxicate you. Besides, like Steve pointed out, they had no way to preserve grape juice without fermenting it since they didn't have refrigerators back then.

I would also like to point out that Jewish wedding tradition always involved fermented wine. Had Jesus turned water into grape juice, the master of the feast would have complained, not praised it.

Duducing that they thought he could get drunk on non alcoholic wine is lame. Jesus said John the Baptist didn't drink, but he did, hence why they slandered him and called him a winebibber. If he wasn't drinking alcoholic wine, why did he say he was drinking? He wouldn't have been doing any more drinking than John the Baptist.

Luke 7:33 For John the Baptist came neither eating bread nor drinking wine; and ye say, He hath a devil. 7:34 The Son of man is come eating and drinking; and ye say, Behold a gluttonous man, and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners!

Jesus drank wine that was obviously alcoholic.

Nobody in Washington is held accountable for their misdeeds. All animals are equal, but some are more equal than others.

Millions of Americans should be marching into Washington saying enough is enough. Actually, they should have done that 23 years ago after Waco.

Are you forgetting about Vince Foster and all the other people close to Hillary who just happened to commit "suicide"

Whitewater, troopergate, travelgate, Monica Lewinsky, Benghazi, Clinton Foundation, email scandal, etc, Bill and Hillary don't need to be anywhere near the whitehouse again. I can't believe these reprobates are even considered. It really makes me sick.

Matthew 24:5 is a false teacher warning not a false Christ warning. In this verse we are being warned about those that will say Jesus is the Christ THEN deceive by false teaching.

I've never heard that interpretation. I always thought he was saying false prophets would claim to be Christ. What you say actually makes sense though.
