@Dolores
That’s Great News!
Time will tell what the end result of the strike will be, but at this point I think one of the pluses is that it sent a clear message that America’s days of apology tours, reset buttons, and fake red lines are over!

@John Yurich
Well, 500 years ago Catholics were big fans of burning Protestants at the stake. Which is why my ancestors had to flee their homelands to various places of refuge. Ever heard of Bloody Mary?
Excellent reason to stick with Sola Scriptura instead of Catholic Traditions of men!

@ Dolores, I’ll be praying!
@ Penny
Hope you have a Blessed day as well! I agree we should proceed peacefully with Russia for as long as possible, though I think we should have both eyes open and a big stick handy! They didn’t seem to need an invitation to violate the borders of Georgia and Ukraine, and they’re currently stirring the pot in other countries, so I just hope we keep a close eye on the “other hand”, if you know what I mean.
At any rate, we need to be praying that our leaders have wisdom and we need to be trusting in our Sovereign King’s plan for it all!

@Penny
It would probably help your case against “russaphobia” if “Putin’s Rasputin” (Aleksander Dugin) wasn’t saying things like this:
“The meaning of Russia is that through the Russian people will be realized the last thought of God, the thought of the End of the World.” “Beyond ‘rights’ and ‘lefts’, there’s one and indivisible Revolution, in the dialectical triad ‘third-Rome- third Reich- third International’. The realm of national- bolshevism, Regnum, their Empire of the End, this is the perfect accomplishment of the greatest Revolution of history, both continental and universal one.” “The end times and the eschatological meaning of politics will not realize themselves on their own. ...The end of days should come; but it will not come by itself.”
For the record, I’m not a dispensationalist and I don’t think Russia will nessesarily have a role in the End Times. Trouble is, apparently they think they will. Maybe they intercepted too many Jack Van Impy shows, but at any rate, as long as they think they nèed to build an “Empire of the End”, we should not trust them.

“love Jesus but not the church”
“Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;” ~Eph 5:25
“Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for His body's sake, which is the church.” ~ Col. 1:24
They love Jesus, but not His Bride whom He died for?
They love Jesus, but not His Body whom they claim to be a part of?
They may need to re-evaluate just who the “Jesus” they love is- the Real one, or an Imaginary one?
Now, not all “churches” are part of The Church; but every Christian loves other members of the Body or something is wrong.

Good Morning, hope all is well with you! Your post is horribly sad, but horribly true. May the Lord bring these people to repentance.

We really need to be praying for the true Christians in Russia. The idol- worshiping Russian Orthodox Church is as “Christian” as the RCC.
“Putin’s Rasputin”, Aleksander Dugin is an Occultic Traditionalist who believes that all religions stem from the same “Mystic Tradition”- with the two exceptions of Protestant Christianity and Sunni Islam. The goal is to bring Orthodox Churches, Roman Catholicism, Hinduism, Shia Islam and other systems back into one tolerant group of many paths to one “god”. Protestants and Sunnis are too “exclusive” so they don’t make the cut, are declared to have no “tradition” and are a threat to peace and harmony.

Which is why I find it alarming that when speaking at the Vatican a couple of years ago, Bannon praised Dugin’s Traditionalism. Either he has no idea what that really means or he’s a dangerous wolf. I hope he’s simply ignorant.

@Adriel: You’re creating straw men. It’s been clearly stated that education (either Public or Homeschool) does not effect election. Did it ever occur to you that perhaps single and low income Homeschooling families Trust God for BOTH their Children’s Salvation AND their Finances?

@US: Excellent post!

@Joe Bob: Totally agree! Personaly, I don’t know a single homeschool family that is “wealthy” by the world’s standards!

@Dave: G’day!

@Penny and Anne: Thanks!
@Adriel:
Education does not determine one’s “electness”. Neither does gang-banging. Should we send our kids to hang out alone with gangsters?
Public school won’t keep them from getting saved- but it will very likely saddle them with a lot of scars, baggage, and regrets if they do get saved.
Going into ALL the world, includes your home! Discipling is based on relationships- paratrooper style evangelism is not what we see Paul practising in the NT, where he would spend years establishing churches. “As the Junior High Turns” is not a healthy enviroment for building lasting relationships. Take your kids with you as you build relationships with the broken world, and you will be discipling both them AND the world, instead of either/or.

Whatever happened to Trusting AND Obeying? We are to absolutly trust our Soveriegn Lord. Yet the fact of His Lordship over us commands our obedience, not as a means of saving ourselves or our children, but as an act of worship from a grateful heart! Bringing up children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord is a command (Eph 6:4; Dea 11:19; Pro 22:6) - not a suggestion. What of Jesus’ warning to those who cause children to stumble (Matt 18:6)? There is also a difference between trusting and testing (Matt 4:7). The fact that parents don’t generally throw their children out onto highways does not stem from a lack of Trust, but from their God-given Love.

“According to the lawsuit, when Richardson told her supervisors that she was pregnant, she was instructed to either marry her partner of 12 years immediately, declare the pregnancy a mistake, or end the relationship.”
The second option is out of line. The “mistake” was fornication- not the baby who was concieved as a result of the mistake. When we wrongly declare the problem to be pregnancy we play right into the hands of the pro-aborts. Un-repentace for 12 years of fornication should have been the grounds for firing- not sending the message that if you get pregnant and quietly commit murder you’ve fixed the “mistake”.

Praying for a speedy recovery and may his Lord continue to use him for many years to come!
@Gay Allen
Sorry to hear about your tooth trouble.
Any tribulations (before or after any planets align) that the Lord soverignly brings into our lives are for our good and His glory, and must be endured through His strength, not our own!
“And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.” ~2 Corinthians 12:9-10
@Youth in Asia

“Let's not stop with prayers.”
I just checked the Facebook page and there’s another update:
“Update: Lots of good news from the tests, scans, and x-rays from yesterday. Everything looks good! Paul is looking forward to being home in a few days.”
They also posted a quote from him:
“If it makes you feel any better, I didn’t go to the third heaven. There won’t be any books.”
Praising the Lord for this excellent news on his recovery!!

They just posted a new update 12 minutes ago:
“We are very happy to report that Paul is much improved today! He’s still hurting and weary from the ordeal, but much improved. Prayers are availing!”

They just put up this notice on the Facebook page:
“Please note: We are not raising funds for Paul through any medium.”
Apparently there are some real scum-bags out there trying to make a quick profit off of this.
Just thought I’d pass along the heads up.
