I wonder how he has got by all these years without having soccer or basketball games on sunday??? It seems that is the day all children in elementary school have their games. Just curious
Amen and God bless you. Ephesians 1 and 2 also contain precious truths on the subject of election just to name one other place. Of cource we know this can be found in the entire bible.
As you say it is not good "to get in a long discussion" on this subject. This even causes division in our churches.
John 3:16 is a wonderful verse; however when the Word of God is rightly divided, we know what It means.
“ Grace, Grace Marvelous Grace! ” Thank God for the Saving Faith taught
in this message. This will be a blessing to anyone who loves Sovereign
Grace. How guilty and wicked we are

"Fivepoints", I believe Hebrews 5-2 is referring to the earthly old testament priests not our Perfect High Priest. Our Lord Jesus Christ is not compassed with infirmity. I think a better verse is Hebrews 4 15-16 and Hebrews 5-9 just to name a few. God bless you

this one especially magnifies the Grace
of the Lord Jesus Christ.
It is a very convicting sermon in that
it states the duty and burden of a
Christian spreading the Gospel.
I thank God for His Sovereign Mercy.
I thank God that He gave life to this
dead sinner. Please listen!!
“ Excellent! ” As always, Brother Mahan teaches a
truth that many may not want to hear.
Death can and does happen suddenly.
When you witness a strong, healthy
person die within a few months, death
becomes a reality. Thank God that death is just the beginning for His
children.
“ Outstanding Sermon! ” Thank God for this sermon and the precious truths taught. As difficult
as life becomes at times, we must
continue to remember the truths of
this sermon. God is in complete control and His Providence is always
there for us. My intention is to
listen to this sermon at least once
a week if be God's will. Thank you
Brother Fortner; I for one needed this
precious sermon to remind me afresh of
these truths.
I agree with you; calling them homosexuals makes their abominable sin sound less wicked. There is no such thing as that anyway. We were all born the same and the wicked sin nature made some choose this lifestyle.
As Christians, we know that sin is sin; however, this sin is especially ugly and deformed. Romans 1 24-32, I Cor. 6 9-12.
We must thank God for His Precious Grace; that is all that makes us different. We must not forget.
