They'd that would explain me extra head 28 fingers and my nephilim inspired nose?
I'm not sure if anything can explain that nose.

Weren't the Vegemites slain by Joshua during the conquest of Canaan?

Rodney, that's expensive, even for Jordan water. Or is it a very big phial? Anyway it won't work a miracle on Dave's tattoo, even if mixed with vegemite.
Hey, if you want a big money tree to grow, you've got to plant a big seed of faith. And you never know what kind of miracle that Jordan water have in it. Why there's probably 4,000 years of sanctified camel slobber in it. You got any idea what camel slobber will do if you mix it with Vegemite? Yeah, me neither. But if Davo can raise the cash, the delusion - er - blessing can be his!

Gotta go!

Ha, you're too much and have way too much time on your vegemite stained teeth and hands. 😂

I believe our dear friend Dave has spent a little too much time in the bush. Enduring the heat. Dehydrated. Having Vegemite delusions. I hope he doesn't stumble upon any Hillsong CDs. In his current condition, he might be tempted to play one or two of them. Next thing you know, he'll be sending $777 for a vial of water from the River Jordan and a prayer cloth. Dear me.

Ran out of space on my previous post.
Meant to say that salvation is a work from beggining to end. Grace is only grace if it is freely and sovereignly dispensed. Otherwise, it is no longer grace; it is a wage.

Nik, I responded to your scriptures. You didn't like my response so you repeated the same verses and called John, Dave and me "hypocritical Pharisees". When I respond to this, you complain that I didn't address your scriptures.

I don't mind having a civil discussion, but this isn't one. Lurker is right, this thread has gotten off topic. I'm out.

Why do you deceive by contorting the word of God and what it clearly states to suit your doctrine, rather change your doctrine to agree with that of God...
If you must know, I have changed my doctrine. I once believed as you do.

Nik wrote:
God gives the Holy Spirit to them that obey him.......
If you are suggesting that we receive the Holy Spirit as a reward for obedience, you are sorely wrong. We obey because we love the One who has saved us by unmerited favor.

Nik wrote:
...you guys very much have faith without works which of course is much of a muchness it still makes you,Dave, Rodney etc a bunch of hypocritical Pharisees in Gods eyes...
So, you know my works? It seems not - if all you accuse me of is hypocrisy. No, you don't know the half of it. I confess that I am the most frail. The most self-centered. The most ungrateful. My wicked heart would never have loved God had He not first loved me. (1Jn. 4:19) He died for me while I was yet a sinner. (Rom 5:8) Before I loved Him. Before I obeyed His quickening voice. (Jn. 10:1-5, Eph. 2:1) He is the God of salvation. It belongs to Him. (Ps. 3:8)

Salvation is a work of grace from beginning

John 1:12 doesn't give us an order of requirements for salvation. It merely states that those who recieve are the same as those who were empowered.

Acts 1:8 concerns the establishment of the New Testament church - not salvation itself. But, if I were to concede that this is about salvation, it changes nothing. Certainly, a dead soul cannot be saved unless God grants His Holy Spirit to bring life.

Again in Acts 5:32 & Romans 8:14, we are told that those who have the Spirit are the ones who obey Him. Obedience is what IDENTIFIES a child of God, not what MAKES him a child of God.

And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.
(Romans 11:6)

Hi Rodney, Thanks for the concern. Yes, it was a harrowing experience, for sure. No, don't believe he was a dispensationalist, just dumb. When I said math equations, I meant akin to a troubled man still trying to problem solve from 1st grade. 2+2=7, 6÷2=14, etc. I felt sorry for him. Very strange.
Why I be a skeered polecat! Ya mean too un too don't equal severn? Whall, that shore splanes some things.

Wow! That must have been frightening! I'm glad you only suffered the scalp thing. I hope you got that Vegermite washed out before it set up. Otherwise, you will become hard headed.

I'm intrigued by the math equation thing. You don't suppose you're dealing with a dispensationalist do you? Did he leave any time lines behind?

Hey, the long nose isn't much of a clue. Why, that could describe Dave or me.

Hey, thanks again for the sermons you shared with me. I'm still sifting through them.

I'm also looking at purchasing some material by F. F. Bruce. I'm familiar with the name, but I've never read anything from him. Is he solid?

Ha, thanks Mike. Pretty much my extended thoughts on this topic and a couple of others. Like I said earlier on, I feel like when we have to dig real deep into obscurity and conjecture, etc, we're most likely doing nothing more than trailing far and away from the simple answers and truth. Thanks.

As to the Exodus passage, I'll take Matthew Henry's interpretation any day over Rabbi Gordon Shumway's opinion.

I tell you what Rodney I am so generous that whatever I make off this invention I'll give you half, I'm now just looking for investors
Yeah that would be over the top but it sure would be a deterrent but we would have to put a disclaimer 'does not work on Australians, may actually attract them'
You shouldn't have any problems getting investors - just be sure not to alert them to the EPA regs concerning Vegemite waste. Also, it might not be a good idea to let anyone know about the Ausie tractor beam affect. That might ruin any chances you have.

Also, consider carefully your packaging and sales pitch. I'm thinking you might have a winner on your hands if you can convince folks that Vegemite is essential to the Daniel diet.

Thanks Rodney you just gave me a million dollar idea! I'm gonna compress vegemite into mace cans! Just think of how much better that would work than pepper spay! You'll see me on shark tank!
Careful, Kev! That might be considered cruel and unusual...

I'll keep my eyes peeled for you on the Tank. When you become rich and famous, you can adopt me. Just don't take Mr. Wonderful up on one of his "loans".

Hey Dave,

Thanks for the case of Vegemite you sent. I used a bit of it to patch the hole in my kayak. Seems to be holding up great. Not really sure why the fish keep floating to the top around it. Also, been using some of it to treat that corn on my big toe. Marvelous stuff that Vegemite. Marvelous stuff! You need to send some to Christopher000. No doubt he'd find a use for it. He might even spread a bit on his router to speed up his internet connection.
