Wayne, why is it every time someone brings out what Obama supports, which goes against the Lord, you dance around it by throwing present or former presidents into the picture. NO ONE here is defending the Republican party; however, the article concerns Obama. That is what the posts should concern, the issues surrounding this man, not Bush, McCain, Reagan, or whoever else you want to drag into the picture. Again, no one here has stated the Rep. party is 'the party'. Can you answer this, how do you defend anyone, whether it be O or M, when what they stand for goes against Almighty God? Who is your God? Who do you really worship and follow, Obama or Christ? |

Lance, What in the former RCCr's comment justifies you saying 'he would like to think that, it would ease his conscience'? Are you that 'in love' with your church that you would DEFY the Holy Word of God, and defend perversion within your own church walls? Do you not know the greatest commandment given BY Jesus Christ Himself from Matthew 22:37 as He quotes Deuteronomy 6:5, "Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with ALL thy heart, with ALL thy soul, and with ALL thy mind". Yet, you love church 'tradition' over Christ's teachings. Do you not know if you do not stand firm in God's word, then you are guilty of condoning whatever you overlook, ignore, or cover up? In this case, homosexuality. |

We cannot control the way other people think, feel, and react. We who follow Christ must put His word first. When someone opposes God's word, then they are not worthy of our vote. Both candidates are more than questionable concerning the word of God. There is a news story at onenewsnow.com concerning Obama's stance on homosexual adoption, he states, 'We also have to do more to support and strengthen LGBT families, because equality in relationship, family, and adoption rights is not some abstract principle; it's about whether millions of LGBT Americans can finally live lives marked by dignity and freedom.' Again, I emphasize we must be obedient to the word of God, and choose, or possibly not choose a candidate who upholds Godly values and principles. To open the door to homosexual adoption and marriage is to shake a defiant fist at God and say 'I will follow my OWN rules'. Wayne, you really need to look past this race issue, most TRUE believers will not vote for Obama simply because of his stance for homosexuality and abortion. The same can also be said for McCain. |

any sex outside the covenant of marriage is sin.- Hebrews 13:4, "Marriage is honorable in all, and the bed UNDEFILED, but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge". "Flee fornication, every sin that a man doeth is without the body, but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body." 1 Cor. 6:18 God instituted the covenant of marriage between a man and woman from the start {Genesis 2:24}, there is NO EXCEPTION. If there were, God would have said so. Homosexuality is wrong, and a sin. We are called to hate what God hates, He is holy, and He abhors ALL SIN. "Abhor that which is evil, cleave to that which is good." Romans 12:9 "But the fearful, the unbelieving, the abominable {God calls homosexuality an 'abomination' in Lev. 18:22}, murderers, sorcerers, whoremongers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone, which is the second death" Rev. 21:8 What part of that isn't clear??!! |
