Are now now claiming to be a medical doctor? Yes or no?
If no, then get off your high, but phantom horse!
Yes. Now, remember: The doctor is always right.

MurrayA wrote:
I will never stoop to pretentiously calling myself "Doctor of Truth", "Weapon of Mass Instruction", and other such specious epithets.
I will never, may the Lord forbid, in rash conceit, pretend to issue "devastating truths" to all and sundry, and put down opposition as "elitist" merely because they contradict my cherished shibboleths.
So you do not have a personality. I could've told you that.

MurrayA wrote:
This is my final word to you. Hereafter ALL posts by you, even if addressed to me or spoken about me, will be ignored.
Yea right. That's what you said last time. And the time before that...

And the time before that.

The Weapon of Mass Instruction is irrisistible.

I am sure you would like that. You have been campaigning towards that for years.

Michael,

My comments to Wayne has nothing to do with Calvinisme but the same hermeneutic which he uses to reject God's clear declarative statements. I hope you understand that Calvinism consists much more than just unconditional election.

Concerning your comment on marriage. Noone ever said that doing the Lord's will would be easy. I think you can gather my sentiments from the posts I have given to a wife for life.

If you trully believe in the sovereignty of God, then you should have no problem believeing that God will take care of her.

I earned it the day I made the amazing discovery, that the Calvinists will not give an original exegesis if their lives depended on it.

It's an Honorary Doctorate if you will.

The problem with your prescription is that it comes from someone from the F_anciful L_and of the Calvinist where God does not mean what he states and states what he means.

I am the Doctor of Truth.

I guess everyone is quick to forget what an alias is?

Besides, if you read correctly, it is not an academic doctorate. The alias stands for a medical doctor.

The pun is that you guys have a theological disease, and I am gracious enough to provide for you the cure.

Of course you all know that, but it is easier for you to tediously look for an ad hominem than it is for you to give an original exegetical rebuttal.

If there is something that the elitists despise, it is the people that they despise (me) assuming the role of teacher. It’s a psychological irony. Pretty humorous when you think about it.

wife for life,
You should be aware Abigail has some erroneous ideas about marriage and divorce. She doesn't believe there is such a thing as a divorce on biblical grounds. She is the worst person to discuss the subject with. In fact, if you have followed the debates on here, she is heretical on most fundamental biblical matters.
I do agree with Wayne that Abigail is heretical in some of the most fundamental doctrines of the Bible.

However...

He is sadly mistaken on the issue of divorce. In fact, he takes the position opposite of orthodoxy in assisting the Bible gives permission for divorce.

On this issue, I would have to side with Abigail, although there are a host of things that she teaches that I would not recommend.

Wife for life, I understand that your situation is extremel difficult. I would hate to be in your shoes. Although the Bible allows for separation, it gives no permission for divorce. I know you know this, but I want you to know that you are doing the right thing and the Lord will bless you for it.

I suppose that the best rebuttal that you can come up with, is correcting my English grammar.

Nevertheless, thanks for correcting my English, although I did not realize that I had to proofread everything lest I get a slap on the wrist.

I suppose that in your elitist circles noone makes grammatical blunders.

But, yes, to your surprise, I am not always as eloquent as I should be. This is partly my fault, since I have spoiled you into expecting nothing but the best from me. Sometimes, when one receives such eloquent responses as those that you have received from me, he becomes spoiled and will accept nothing less than excellence.

The only thing I ask, is that you accept my humble apology. The difference between I and your elitist circle of friends is that I admit when I make a blunder. You choose to take it to the grave.

But I do assure you that if there is one area that you will never be disappointed, it is this: I will always be faithful to give you the Dehvastating Truth.

And I always will be the Weapon of Mass Instruction.

I pray that I never be bewitched from the simplicity that is in the Gospel.

But thanks for the warning.

John the Baptist did not ask them to quit their profession. You would think he had. Does that escape you?

Interesting how you pick and choose what you want to rebuttal. Will you ignore the other two more powerful ones?

I prescribe you to read your Bible and forget about your lame deductive reasoning.

God means what he states and states what he means.

That's the way the cookie crumbles.

In the love of Christ,
The Weapon of Mass Instruction

Spiritual

Your car and your house is in this world, so I guess from your hermeneutic, you are suppose to forsake it.

Can I have it?

Concerning Abigail's post:

She forgot that when the soldiers asked John the Baptist what they must do, he did not mention anything about them leaving their profession.

She also ignores that Jesus and Paul would not use a wicked profession to parallel what a Christian should be.

He does not compare Christians to strippers; neither would he compare them to soldiers if that was such a wicked profession.

Newsflash: God does not ordain wickedness. Neither does he obligate Christians to submit to wickedness.

It is quite simple, really.

Abigail and Spiritual have a cult mentality.

They believe in isolating themselves from the world and having their own little village. Not to say, the tongue-slapping fits that they call Holy Spirit power. (For what, THEY do not even know)

Since they hate everything, and everything is demonic, then it is only a matter of time before they drink the red koolaid and die.

Just for the record, I would had had nothing to do with it.

If one debates with an evolutionist, the last thing the evolutionist wants ro discuss is abiogenesis.

That's when they start giving you the itchty-twitchy dance.

Sounds like James Buchanan had a problem with the simplicity of the Gospel as well.

It is definitely an epidemic.

there is an essay outlining a whole array of manuscripts, not merely Codex Aleph, the one he alleges was rescued from a "trashcan".
I am not sure what your point is but I suppose that the other one's where on there way there too. The text propagated by theological liberals is hugely composed of Codex Sinaiticus.

I am not sure how the rest of the outlined manuscripts make the picture look any more prettier.

Concernining Vaticanus, its brother, it is in fact easier to find two consecutive verses in which these two MSS differ the one from the other, than two consecutive verses in which they entirely agree."

A blog on how the Bible of the great saints of the past, the reformers, and the great revivalists was a sham...

... and how the one discovered in a trashcan and propagated by theological liberals who are still making corrections to it is the more reliable one.

The sincere reader is suppose to make sense out of the theological mumbo-jumbo that basically tells him that he needs to favor the 3 types of text that disagree in more than 3,000 places over the 5,000 family of text that are 95% similar.

If anyone doubt that Satan is alive and well, there is no more reason to doubt.

I prescribe him with a new heart made of flesh.

I am not sure about the highly intelligent part but I could had not explained myself better than what JD did.

How can one have an intelligent discussion with someone who refuses to have an intelligent discussion?

Case in point: I made a clear presentation (18 posts) of my position and the only attempt someone made to refute it is cutting and pasting a bunch of Scripture hoping someone makes a telepathic connection between his thoughts and the Scripture he quoted.

When asked for more commentary, the best I get is an ad hominem.

If, I a quack, can so easily confound their theology, imagine what would happen if I untie my brain from behind my back.
