Christopher000 wrote: You and Rodankle are nothing but schoolyard bullies. Neither of you can stand anyone who's bigger, better, smarter, stronger, and more handsome. Tragic, really. I'm not even angry, but saddened over whatever happened to you as children that's made you lash out this way. Hey, I resemble that remark! Jus 'cause everone else is bigger, better, smarter, stronger, and more handsomer than me don't mean that I have to take this sitting down. And what's this here about my childhood? Just 'cause I were dropped in a vat of Vegermite when I was knee high to a grasshopper don't mean nothin'. Specially comin' from a full fledged Vegermite addict. |

John Yurich USA wrote: Your way of thinking is Calvinism. The Bible speaks of free will. If it is true that accepting Christ is not biblical then why did Jesus state to go into the world and preach the Gospel to get individuals to choose to become saved by accepting Jesus? "A man’s free will cannot cure him even of the toothache, or a sore finger; and yet he madly thinks it is in its power to cure his soul." - Augustus Toplady |

ladybug wrote: "Puritans are an embarrassment to Christianity" What a hypocritical statement! This is nothing more than painting with a broad brush. Gallery of famous 17th-century Puritan theologians include: Thomas Gouge, William Bridge, Thomas Manton, John Flavel, Richard Sibbes, Stephen Charnock, William Bates, John Owen, John Howe and Richard Baxter. I would hardly call these men an 'embarrassment'. What really is an embarrassment is a liberal troll who disguises himself as 'Christian'. |
