“ Legalists: Ruthless and Sadistic ” It should be noted that legalists like Doug Phillips are and were ruthless and sadistic. This is because legalism weighs others down with self-righteous dictates which are seen as a "test of righteousness", more like a test of self-righteousness. Also, legalists are sadistic and ruthless in the sense that they take pleasure in abusing others in the name of "defending righteousness", even though legalists are defending their self-righteousness when abusing others. In short, legalism and self-righteousness teach that compassion is a sign of "weakness", while cruelty is regarded as a sign of "strength" by legalists. According to Romani 01 (Romans 01), particularly Romani 01:29-32 (Romans 01:29-32), there is a list of offenses and offenders worthy of death, both physical death and spiritual death! One of the offenses worthy of death listed are maliciousness, murder, ruthlessness, and slander, all of which self-righteous legalists are and were guilty of! Even self-righteousness and legalism is an offense worthy of death according to Romani 01:29-32! One day, all self-righteous legalists will die. This podcast is a plea to repent of all manner of self-righteousness and legalism, which is worthy of death in and of itself!
“ Vision Forum: Vision of Legalism ” Back in 1998, Vision Forum was founded, but was closed back in 2013, particularly November 2013 due to allegations of marital infidelity and sexual abuse by Doug Phillips. As noted, the formerly operating Vision Forum, which was founded by Doug Phillips, really had a vision, a vision of legalism. Some passages like Colossians 02, particularly Colossians 02:20-23, are one response to legalism. We realize that legalism with its "rules" is like pushing a heavy crate up a hill only to get crushed by said heavy crate. We must reject the temptation to embody the heavy weight of legalism and the excessive gravity carried by it in response to licentiousness, even licentiousness in the church. This podcast shows that we must not be legalistic robots or licentious rebels, for both are a recipe leading to disaster.
“ Enjoyed this exposition of a very overlooked subj ” A good subject to cover and remind believers that the Last Day Resurrection is what Paul looked forward to and expects other believers to hope in. One might ask "Why is there a resurrection if a person is already in Heaven?" to which I quote Paul, "For if the dead are not raised, not even Christ has been raised." 12 references to the dead in the NT refers to them as being "asleep" which is their state until the Last Day when Jesus says that that is the occassion when He will "raise them up".
“ Enjoyed this Sermon! ” I almost passed by the sermon. Because I've never read the book Pilgrim's Progress. Having dyslexic tendencies keeps me from reading a lot of books. I enjoy Brian's way of conveying a message and thoroughly enjoyed this video. Keep them coming brother keep him coming.

I really like the picture of death as a schoolyard bully who cannot frighten us because we have a big brother who protects us.
