Great call to prayer. Good and encouraging call to prayer for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. When God wants to send revival, He makes His people pray for it. Prayer meetings always appear before revival, and revival will bring more prayer and prayer meetings. And a sign of revival is prayer meetings lasting for years.
Great Sermon! Thank you for the word Dr Stephen we were blessed through it. Didn’t know you were in the USA.Gods riches blessings for your ministry. 2Timothy 4v2. Kenny &Florence Campbell. Magherafelt RBC.
Whose plans? Good message. Too many Christians are making plans in their ministries and after that asking the Holy Spirit to bless THEIR plans. When the Holy Spirit comes in mighty revival, He is taking control, His plans and work being central, and He blessing His plans and ministries, not ours.
A burden from on high Good and encouraging message. Too many times it happened to have our hearts searched and we wanted and prayed for a much closer walk with God, and this continues a few days… But when the Spirit of the Lord gives a burden of prayer, this continues not for some days, but for months and even years. This we need today. His hand over us to fill us and to empower us to pray and serve in the Spirit.
Great truths. It is true: Christian life can be lived only in the power of God. And this is not a life of Stoicism, but of joy from the Holy Spirit.
Very useful. Thank you, brother! Very good and useful message. Through it, God inspired me to write emails to 6 persons thanking them for the good they have done in my life...
Great triths. It is true: many are in this time not seeking God and repentance, a new life and holiness, but only want to be protected against sickness. For my part, I know this trial is for my spiritual benefit, by the in-working of the Holy Spirit.
Great Sermon! Thank you very much Dr. Allison for not being a part of the herd mentality and not following the more popular commentaries that try to pre-place the Revelation of Jesus Christ into their own particular doctrine of the End Times. I agree with practically all of your conclusions especially concerning the meaning of the First Resurrection in Revelation chapter 20. It agrees with what our Lord Jesus talks about in John 5:24-25. And though the Second Resurrection is not mentioned specifically in Revelation 20 but strongly alluded to, it fits neatly into what our Lord mentions in John 5:28-29 where all in the graves hear His voice and their bodies are resurrected.
Great Sermon! Timely message, I hear one of our local politicians call for a day of prayer but no mention of need of repentance, surely then God will hear our prayer.
Refreshing. This was a sweet word for my heart. Brother, I do not want to change something in Christ. He is altogether lovely. But He must change many things in me!
