“ Great Sermon! ”
It's very refreshing to hear a preacher who says it as it is. I was comforted / challenged and so blessed. Biblical Christianity still alive and kicking. You are right - we don't need numbers, we don't need Egypt - we just need God. And no matter what - WE WILL SURVIVE.

“ A beautiful ceremony ”
Godliness adorns the gatherings of the saints and the business they engage in. Every blessing to Miles and Lois. May their married years be full of God's goodness in all fruitfulness unto righteousness. May their families be blessed also as they persevere in the race of faith.

I don't know what it is with this pastor, who speaks so directly to me in his sermons but the truth of course is his God knowsme because He is my God too. I so needed this message. Was out for a walk when it came on my ipod. It was such a timely and uplifting word. Thank you.

Get apart from the daily grind and get with God. This is where our power comes. Keep Bible reading and prayer together because Bible reading fuels our prayer life. Let us all have a closet life!

Sermon:
The Caring Christ
Rev. Colin Mercer

“ ENCOURAGING SERMON! ”
I know I'm not alone facing trials these days. Everywhere I turn I see & hear of people suffering. I want to encourage them but due to my own lengthy trial that has left me physically, emotionally and spiritually-spent, I don't have the wherewithal to reach out as I normally would. This message was exactly what I needed to hear. The ongoing trial(s) lasting months and months mixed with health issues escalated from environmental circumstances led me to a point of wanting to give up the other day. My hope was gone. Like a bruised & broken reed, I wondered if He cared as prayers have gone unanswered. This message was powerful & desperately needed to be heard by me. Of significance were his words at the 26 minute mark where he spoke of Satan's involvement. Pastor Mercer knows how to effectively communicate this truth without overdoing it. I easily forget that the enemy is actively working and how powerful he can be, even under the control of the almighty God. The evil one is slick and knows exactly what to whisper to bring added anguish and pain. I will be listening again (and again). May the Lord richly bless Pastor Mercer. He has a gift of preaching which I am very grateful for.

The Preciousness of Christ

“ Great Sermon! ”
I was a false convert for many years until God Himself saved me one night while reading about the doctrine of adoption. Not long after i was reading Spurgeon on Christ's glorious acheivements and he explained how little Jesus cared about people praising him or condemning him. He was unaffected by man's opinion of him. I thought then how magnificent Christ was and i felt deep love for him and it was like a shock. It was a new thing that i felt love for christ for who he was and not just what he gives me. I was overwhelmed by it. Yes, Christ is not precious at all to the unsaved but he is to those who are.
