Great Sermon! Dr Lawson says at the beginning of the sermon that he hasn't heard a sermon on head covering before, you will find many excellent sermons on this subject on Sermon Audio well worth listening to, Rev Paul Dowling and Rev Stephen Hamilton are recommend. It's a shame we don't hear more sermons on how God should be worshipped in church.Thank you Dr Lawson for an excellent sermon.
Thank You Pastor Thank you Pastor for such a timely message. What the world sees as success has taken over our churches and many pastors have either suffered mightily because they remain true to scripture or compromised to please the masses. May your message serve as encouragement to so many.
Great Sermon! My dear brother, I thank you for a very powerful God-honoring sermon that fed my hunger for things of God. May the God of all grace bless your witness as you proclain the truth as it is in Christ Jesus.
Great Sermon! I praise and thank God for what I have learned from this sermon.
These are some of things I have learned:
Every minister/believer will be examined and evaluated by God regarding his life and
ministry. In the final day, everyone will appear in the judgment seat of Christ.
Minister of the word of God, according to the bible should be regarded as:
1. Servant of Christ. 2.Steward of the mysteries of God. Also regarded as shepherd,
overseer,elders,and pastors.
A minister is a servant of Christ not a servant of men.
A servant is defined as person toiling under rower galley. The captain is Jesus Christ.
A steward is a manager of his master's house.
Minister will be reviewed where criticism and examination is expected.
Minister will surely be rewarded according to his faithfulness.
Glory to God!
Great Sermon! This is the 3rd sermon of Pastor Lawson that I've listened to this week and each has been extremely powerful. The teaching is clear, expository, and leads each time with the listener (me!) knowing specifically what my response should/must be if I believed what I heard. What a tremendous blessing! God bless you and thank you!
Excellent introduction to a great series A fascinating overview of the key figures and movements in the Reformation; listen to all five in the series. Dr Lawson makes the characters come alive; it's never boring. I suggest you plan to take notes for future study and followup. You'll learn a lot about theology as you go through these movements!
Very Christological Sermon! Nothing is better for the Christian's soul than to hear about a wonderful Savior! Sit back and let your soul be refreshed as it is nourished by the Bread of Life as preached by Steven Lawson.
