Welcome to our spot on sermonaudio.com | edit page
We are a very small but faithful congregation in a deprived inner-city area of Liverpool.
We meet on Sunday mornings, when the Bible is proclaimed and taught through a sermon. The evening meeting is a round-table discussion, where questions can be asked and testimonies to God's grace can be shared.
The Lord's Table is commemorated every Sunday morning.
Our outreach is conducted by distributing literature and speaking to local people.
Doctrinally, we'd like to say that we're simply Bible-based. Seeing, however, that believers disagree on some aspects of the faith, it may help enquirers to know that we are Evangelicals, Calvinistic Baptists and Reformed. More specifically, we endorse the Canons of Dort, affectionately known as the Doctrines of Grace. We also deny the "Free Offer" doctrine whereby God is said to earnestly desire the salvation not only of the elect but of the reprobate also.
The teaching is Christ-centred, and encourages love for all - especially God's people - and a zeal for the cause of God and Truth.
