What is one fear you might have when someone prays to accept the Lord, or turns their life over to God? I can tell you that for myself it is a fear that they will stop short from following God. Many times it isn't that they leave God completely, but that they don't want to come to close to Him and slowly drift away. What does that slow drift look like? Well at times it can be an increase in worldly pleasure. Things that aren't wrong in and of themselves, but the priority given to these things slowly takes over the time that had been given to God. This is the drifting that we are all aware of. Yet here in Galatians, Paul points out another kind of drifting. This is a drifting where instead of focusing on God, we start to make a list of things that we 'must do to please God'. We offer God this list of things and feel that we have arrived or fallen based on our keeping of this list. This neglects Christ's sacrifice for us and becomes a fake God. Join us as Paul explains about some of the things the Galatians had added that were leading them away from God.
