We live in a day where it isn't hard to see the evil of men. We hear of riots and the murder of policeman on a weekly basis. We are told that the murder of over 600,000 babies every year is normal and a good thing for a women's freedom. In these days, the church in almost overwhelmed with messages of what we are to do to save our nation. The first question I ask though is what does God require from us in these days? The second is a bit harder. Is there a way for us to see revival in these days? I find an interesting answer in the study of Elijah. This man of God was not afraid to stand for God. We see God using him to challenge Israel and to turn them back to belief in Him. May we learn our lessons well and may God use us to turn our nation back to the Lord of Hosts.
