FOR THE LORD, the God of Israel, saith that he hateth putting away: for one covereth violence with his garment, saith the LORD of hosts: therefore take heed to your spirit, that ye deal not treacherously.
1. Our Lord Jesus espoused himself to us before ever the world was, and he "hateth putting away."
2. In time, Christ came and took us as his bride, and he "hateth putting away."
3. We were and have been an adulterous bride (a wife of whoredoms), and he still "hateth putting away."
4. In the fullness of time Christ comes to each of his own in the experience of grace, and he "hateth putting away."

Great Sermon! Sir,
The sermon is elating especially when the speaker sounds similar to Perry Rockwood, the late minister. I felt glad the command is very difficult to keep as a law to maintain unbroken yet how does the world fare when left on its own? There are many instructions you have given that prove valuable. Thank you. Besides an ambiguity in many relations keeps this law but who knows what the truth is? The Lord or the feeling of love or the Scripture? Any one of these can take place to people anywhere. Your prayers may prove righteous. Thank you again.
