“ Timely and Vital Message! ” Brother Don, thank you so much for preaching this message. Aside from the importance of understanding the Gospel is robbed of its power when we reject or overlook the truth of Limited Atonement, your general message about the importance of HEARING the word of God preached is absolutely crucial in our day. I point out that we have a perfect Scriptural example of why the word of God in the Bible needs to be preached, discussed, and spoken to willing hearers, and not merely studied or read, from Acts 8:30-38 where the Apostle Philip comes across a curious eunuch reading passages from the Old Testament prophet Isaiah. The eunuch admits he has no understanding about what he's reading and confesses, “How can I [understand], unless someone guides me?" (v. 31). Dear believers, you must be willing to hear the word of God preached in addition to studying it so that it can bear real fruit in your hearts and lives. God bless Brother Don for being one of the lone voices in the wilderness preaching a true and living message and true doctrine of God's word. May God inspire and raise up powerful preachers of his ilk in this and future generations! Hallelujah to our Lord Jesus Christ.
