Paul says, “Evil people and impostors will go on from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived.” (2 Timothy 3:13) Jesus tells us in Matthew 7 that many who profess to be believers will hear “I never knew you” and were ultimately deceived. We should heed these warnings. We should also find ourselves letting this cast us upon Christ in whom is our only hope.
