We expect everything right now in this society. And when it doesn’t come when we think it should we want to know what is taking so long? For them a journey of 11 days took 40 years to get to the land of promise. It got to the point where it seemed like there was no direction. But procrastination held them back. We get so comfortable we miss the next victory. Fear steals our resolve and despair says you can’t. it might be rebellion holding things up. Or simply our complaining about everything. Discouragement is a powerful dead weight that we pick up and keep. We need to encourage ourselves instead and drop that dead weight. Above all disbelief will stop us in our tracks every time. Have faith in the one who is guiding us on our path.
