Up till now, the Apostle Paul has given instruction regarding how the Pastor, the Deacon, men, and women should behave; today Pastor Simpson preached from 1 Timothy 3:14-15 giving instruction how we all should behave. Pastor Simpson referenced Ecclesiastes 3:1-11 pointing out that to all things there is a time, and as such, we submit to the sovereignty of God as Paul did in 1 Timothy when he said, I'm hoping to come to you; he was hoping to come, but relying on the sovereignty of God as to whether he would or wouldn't. So too, our lives are at the mercy of God. Yet, in spite of this knowledge, we fret over the fears and concerns of tomorrow resting in knowing that God is ultimately in control in the providence of our lives. A listen to today's second-hour message will help us all.
Make sure to tune in over the next several weeks as Pastor Simpson plans to speak to Jesus as the One God. To hear more sermons like this one from our wisdom series find Providence Church on SermonAudio.com. Come visit us next Lord's Day!
