1. Some housekeeping about how I approach preaching and teaching.
2. So, we continued with our gospel testimony of the nature of faith that pleases God.
3. We have worked the testimony of how Rahab the prostitute got a good testimony from God and we expanded the testimony by introducing the testimony of Jephthah.
4. And God wants us to really understand that none was and is saved by what they actually did or do and so the Holy Spirit gave us a summary of some of the luminaries of faith and saying none was saved by the Law keeping.
5. God gave us a list of those that were saved before the Law (Enoch, Noah, Abraham, Sarah), those saved in the giving of the Law and after the Law, but not saved by the Law (Moses) and those who grew up outside the Covenant of the Law like a Gentile who also was a Harlot. These got the same score card because of the principle of faith in the Invisible Christ, because salvation is not of works.
6. And we went into the story of Jephthah and how he got into Hebrews 11 and that is the body of the message.
7. And that means we had to work Judges 11 and extract gospel testimony from that story. And this is a wonderful gospel message for those who have never heard the gospel testimony of Jephthah and his daughter.
8. It is a gospel nugget feeding frenzy and may the Lord be pleased to give you the ears to hear because it is free!

Great Sermon! I highly recommend this sermon as it is a perfect picture of how God accomplishes salvation through the story of Jephthah and his only begotten daughter. Jephthah being a type of both Christ and God the father and the daughter a beautiful picture of Jesus Christ in the accomplished salvation of Israel from the Ammonites in the Book of Judges.
