Today we begin a new series entitled How Majestic is Your name! Majesty is a word used for kings, queens, and supremely for God. It is an expression of greatness. So for the next several weeks will be focusing on the greatness of God. The title of the message is Worthy to be praised. Today I want us to consider from Psalm 8 how great God is and therefore He is worthy to be praised! 1) The Greatness of God's Glory- v1 2) The Greatness of God's Power- v2 God defeats His enemies through the mouth of babies and infants. Babies and infants are the weakest of society. But this verse highlights that God demonstrates His power by triumphing through the weak!
3) The Greatness of God's Grace - v3-8
. I want to share 3 manifestations of God's grace with you:
-God cares for man secondly, -God gives man dominion That leads to the third example of God's grace…
-God gave His Son to save us When we consider The Greatness of God's Glory, the greatness of God's power, and the greatness of God's grace, I trust we come to the same conclusion as David…
Our God is Worthy to be Praised! - v9 Not only is God worthy to be praised, but this psalm teaches us that God uses the praises of His children to silence His enemies.
