Jesus would be coming through the city gate at Jerusalem and two crowds of people would welcome him. The first was the group of people who witnessed the ressurrection of Lazarus. They saw the miracle and believed on him who is the ressurrection and the life. The second crowd would be the multitude of people who were curious and wondering who this miracle worker was, they came along with the religious rulers who were also there to check out Jesus, riding on a colt of a donkey in the manner of a heralding king, yet he sought no such a title but to be known as the Messiah of God, the one who would save his people from their sin. In humility Jesus would ride into Jerusalem at the time of the Passover and in humility he would receive the Hosannas Praise that was to be given in prophetic fulfillment of him according to Psalm 118. Now I see Jesus coming, Hosanna, O Lord Save! O Lord Save!
