Today the Rev Ian Brown looks at the miracle of the healing of the withered hand. In this sermon there are many comparisons between this withered hand and the spiritual life of the unconverted sinner. Firstly we see that this hand was of no use, man is of no use to God or himself for he is as this withered hand dead and of no spiritual use. Secondly we see that the man had to have faith in God to be healed, likewise man only has to have faith in Christ and He will also heal him from sin and death. Last of all we see that this man was completely healed. Man can also be healed from sin and the second death by trusting in God confessing his sin and asking God to forgive him and to wash him in the blood of Christ.
