Isolation makes us vulnerable in many ways, and this has always been the case; mutual love and fellowship were the great need of the hour for the Hebrew church, which was suffering extreme persecution. That is why they were told not to forsake the assembling of themselves together, to strengthen weak hands, and to let brotherly love continue.
Today the isolation comes not as a result of persecution but of life-saving measures, and yet it will still cause great need. We will need to be constant in our love, fellowship and support as brothers and sisters - to let brotherly love continue.
