Marianne Cassidy Pond, 64, Godley and loving, dedicated mother and grandmother, died March 18, 2009, at McCall Hospice House in Simpsonville, S.C.
A native of Grenville County, she was the wife of the predeceased James Wayne Pond. She was a Wal-Mart employee of 17 years and a member of Faith Free Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Mark and Mary Margaret Rooze; daughter and son-in-law, Scott and Barbie Jackson; daughter and son-in-law, Kent and Sherri Stubbs; and daughter, Lori Pond; grandchildren, Brandon and Christopher Jackson, Cassidy and Ben Stubbs, and Marie Rooze. She is also survived by a brother, John Cassidy; and a sister, Susan Wilhoit.
Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Faith Free Presbyterian Church in Greenville. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
