Picture 1: Christ is the Living Stone; He was rejected by men, but chosen by God (v.4).2. Picture 2: believers are living stones (v.5-6). 3. Picture 3: unbelievers are disobedient builders (v.7-8). People go to Heaven because they have chosen to put their faith in Christ. People go to Hell because they have chosen to reject Him or have never heard the Gospel and died in their ignorance. God has appointed those who have chosen to be disobedient to the Lord to stumble. No one has to be in the category of the disobedient, but those who are, cannot avoid the results. By rejecting Christ, they increase their judgment and condemnation.They are abandoned by God to the error of their ways. This is the inevitable destiny of anyone who rejects Christ and dies without Him in their heart. Your soul will be Timeless somewhere in the Future by your own Choice.
