All seven of the virtues listed in Peter's “catalog” in verses five through seven must be ours properly and must “abound” in us. The closing verses of this classic passage should spur us on both to self-examination and to action. The benefits of cultivating all these virtues are great. The consequences of a failure to cultivate them are disastrous. Don't throw this ‘catalog' away!
