IV. THE CONCLUSION A. For the Saint: Commanded to “Come”-So How Should You Come? 1. Stay in the way (ark/cross), Jn 14:6 2. Study & meditate (building ark) – Phil.2:12; Jn 5:39 3. Shun every excess (only God's provision in ark), Phil 4:19 4. Safeguard against shortcuts & by-ways (pitch to seal), Prov 4:26-27 5. Safeguard against distractions (clear skies, stargazing), Prov 3:6 6. Stop Not for the world, flesh, or the devil, Lk 9:62 7. Stay encouraged (it's all grace!), Phil 1:6 8. Shun being offended by the cross, Gen 7:5b, 9b, 16b a. Since God perseveres to save; you persevere to obey 9. Seek earnestly the Lord's grace in effectual prayer: a. Illuminate your understanding in God's Word b. Inflame your will for God's Word.
