“Double minded” or hesitating, two spirits. Some have a mindset to do what God wants while at same time a mind to do what we want to do. We know what God said but we don't want to make that move. This makes us unstable or unsteady; we don't walk straight, like a dizzy drunk. When walking like that we don't know who is going to get hurt. A decision is needed to be made in all journeys of life. We need to make up our minds to follow god. Too many are too busy dancing around the issues. And all they succeed at doing is driving themselves crazy. Just coming to church is not serving God, that's worship. How are we serving, expanding the kingdom of God? But to settle for just being in church is to straddle that fence and does not serve God. But once we make up our mind to follow God all the way God is well pleased. Temptations will increase. The chances to change our minds, to flip-flop will come more and more often. But God has called us to a higher purpose than self. By making up our mind we are not choosing the easy road but we are choosing to go with joy in serving Him. And will see results.
