They can experience true hope for the first time. The hopeless examples in scripture serve as a backdrop; they make the gospel appear as it is, altogether glorious. Is that how you see the gospel? For there is no other way you should see it. It's how true followers of Christ see it. Do what so many hopeless God despisers fail to do. Repent and obey the gospel of our resurrected Lord, Jesus Christ.
