Great Sermon! This sermon was encouraging to listen to because it shows that God marks us for Himself before wrath comes against sin in the temple.
I do believe as David shows here from OT scriptures that there will be, if not already, a famine in hearing the word of God.
But we should be encouraged by knowing God sees what is going on in His name and there will be a time coming when judgement will begin at the house of God for its sin even in the Church of today. Thank God for the remnant that grieves over the sad state of the Church and that they don't join in and separate from sinful practices.
I love the mention of Jesus being, The Lord Jesus! Not only is He Jesus but He is Lord!
David speaks about God being God who judges and not a Father Christmas figure but a God who judges and puts all right and we should be thankful for that attribute of God.
God sees all these sinful things going on in His Temple but as we cry out against the evil, God hears us and we can take comfort in knowing that because of our grieving God marks us for salvation before wrath is poured out.

Thanks David for showing that it's ok to grieve about the state of the Temple (the church today). I have taken comfort in knowing that God sees and a day of reckoning is coming and I'll be spared because
