From the pen of Brother Dennis Sampson, The Lord has been at work the past couple of days, if I may put it that way. Last week I had some issues with work and getting out to the route on time. The worst part of that was that this past Saturday being the first Saturday of the month was my time to go and gold a little church service at the local nursing home. It is held between breakfast and lunch in the dinning room so I have to be there on time or the residents won’t get to have the service. Starting on Tuesday I had my church praying specifically for my route on Saturday. I needed everyone to show up on time. If possible our last transport truck to be early and my last four starts to be early. God delivered again! The shift went exactly as prayed for and we had a pretty good church service. I actually ended up having one extra stop on Saturday but being as early as I was it fit into the route perfectly and I didn’t miss a beat. Sunday came and I got to travel to the southern end of the next county over to fill in for a pastor friend of mine. I had good liberty to preach for both services. The evening service though was a little later than I am used to but I had at least gotten a good night’s sleep the night before. I left this church about 8:20 and had a 70 minute drive home. That left me with about two hours to sleep before I had to get up and go back to work. Here is the next answered prayer. When I first arrived at work I put on Facebook a request for people to pray for me and left it at that. When I got inside I saw my load was not a huge load just going to be a long day. Once I got into it though I found I had one less stop, that extra one last Saturday. My God had already answered my prayer before I had even asked it. My Heavenly Father does indeed answer prayer and knows what we need. Philippians 4:19 “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”
