2011 is proving to be a banner year for Dr. Whitcomb, who is celebrating 60 years of public ministry and the 50th anniversary of The Genesis Flood (Presbyterian and Reformed Publishing, 1961), the groundbreaking creationist book that he coauthored with Dr. Henry Morris.

Encounter God’s Truth will utilize a unique format. In addition to providing in-depth teaching by Dr. Whitcomb, it will also allow listeners to receive answers to questions about the Bible and Christianity each week, drawing upon Dr. Whitcomb’s many years of study in God’s Word.

The program is scheduled to launch on radio stations the weekend of Sept. 3 and 4. Prior to that, four pilot programs will be placed on www.SermonAudio.com/Whitcomb beginning on Aug. 6.

The program will be introduced each week by a majestic, rousing version of a familiar hymn – “I Sing the Mighty Power of God.”
