If you use a Bible story try these tips:
- Tell the story in your own words occasionally qouting word-for word from the Bible account in key places.
- Apply it devotionally as you go along. How does this speak to you about temptation or peace or your relationship with God? etc.
- Quote a supporting verse or two that goes along with your topic from elsewhere in the Bible. Use statistics to add intrest.
