“Christ did not die on the cross trying to save his people. HE DIED SAVING HIS PEOPLE! He was given the name Jesus for that very purpose: For he shall save his people from their sins (Matt 1:21). If you believe that God loves every one and died for everyone, then your idol is a failure as all idols are. The God of scripture is not trying to do anything. HE IS ACCOMPLISHING HIS PURPOSE(Isa. 14:27). He willingly became a man, laid down his life, paying the price of sin, for his sheep(John 10:15). We have all sinned and came short of the glory of God; we all deserve the wrath to come, yet there is a people, chosen before the world was (Eph 1:4), who are to be the recipients’ of His Love.
Because he first loved us, we have a substitute. One who has paid the price for us, one who stood in our place. One who willingly received our just reward. One who laid down his life for us. No man taketh it from him (John 10:18).
Dear reader, I pray that The Lord of Glory is Your Substitute. Today is the day of salvation! Believe on the LORD JESUS CHRIST and thou shalt be saved.”
