Franklin Graham Urges Christians to Pray for Joe Biden
Evangelist Franklin Graham is urging Christians to unite and pray for President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris in the midst of what he is calling a turbulent time in U.S. history.
Graham, a vocal supporter of President Trump, made the comments Thursday in social media posts on Facebook and Twitter.
“The division in our country is as great as any time since the Civil War,” Graham wrote on Facebook. “I am calling on Christians to unite our hearts together in prayer for President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris, and for the leadership in both parties....
Hey Jim how come you didn’t comment on the article about 73 million abortions. Is it because your good buddies are behind it. When your time is up and your in hell you will hear those baby screams for all eternity
Dr. Rugh wrote: ... Praying for Leaders .... "First of all, then, I urge that entreaties and prayers, petitions and thanksgivings, be made on behalf of all men, for kings and all who are in authority, in order that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity" (1 Timothy 2:1-2).
As believers, we have the responsibility to be praying for our rulers. We are to pray that God gives them wisdom in the decisions they must make. We pray for them so that we will have the type of environment that will help the ministry of the Gospel. And of course, we should pray for their salvation.
God has given us, in this nation, an environment in which we can freely proclaim the Gospel. When I look back on the last 25 years of my ministry, I notice that very little has changed because of who was President or who was in Congress. Someday, however, that may change. As Christians we should not take for granted our liberties to preach the Gospel. Instead, we should thank God for these opportunities and pray that He will appoint leaders that will keep providing an environment that helps promote the spread of the Gospel....
excerpt from, "Rendering To Caesar---A Biblical Perspective On Government"
Romans 13:1 Is about GOD ordaining the governments of nations.
Rom 13:1 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.“ = When Paul wrote this the military government of Rome was in power.
With God in control even Biden/Harris administration can serve HIS purpose, What we need to pray for with an evil Democrat admin is God’s intervention and providence even when Satan’s followers are in the top job.
God accepts sinners in the task of government as always. The Christians task is to seek God’s providence in a fallen world and reprobate governance. Fight the good fight in the battle of good and evil.
Thus we pray that God will limit the Democrat government and policies and care for America in adverse times such as these. God’s Will be done — Not Democrat.
To thine alone be the glory in this reprobate world. Amen!
I second that call, as the motion needed such. Who knows what the Lord may do with any particular human heart. He saved me. Therefore, He can and will save anyone.
