Over 42.6M abortions conducted in 2020, surpassing world's leading causes of death
Over 42 million abortions occurred in 2020, far surpassing the totals of people who perished as a result of the world’s leading causes of death.
According to data compiled by the Worldometer, a reference website that monitors statistics on health, the global population, the use of resources and deaths in real-time, over 40 million abortions are performed worldwide annually.
The website tabulates statistics on abortion made available from the World Health Organization. The last available snapshot of the Worldometer as it appeared on New Year’s Eve, captured by the internet archive tool The Wayback Machine, reveals that more than 42.6 million abortions were performed worldwide in 2020....
2Peter 1:3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: 4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust."
Maybe Moderna or Pfizer can come out with a vaccine! Oh wait, abortion isn't considered a problem even though it kills far more people. It's even worse because now there are pills that can kill the baby and nobody is any wiser for it. Those are the undocumented abortions.
I think a key point is how many times the nbr of COVID deaths is echoed yet this death toll surpasses that number. Where is the worldwide anguish for these lives? Were they not also precious? Why does this pandemic of which very few survive continue?
This was all during a pandemic when people were supposed to stay home, but abortions continued. How sad to see our nation go this way, but we are due for judgement. We as the church have been silent to long about life and need to speak the truth to this lost world.
