Los Angeles County lifts ban on indoor worship after Supreme Court rulings
Los Angeles County recently announced that it was allowing houses of worship to hold both indoor and outdoor services, reversing an earlier ban on indoor services.

In a statement Saturday, the county government explained that the decision to allow the services comes due to recent legal decisions from the United States Supreme Court.

“Places of worship are permitted to offer faith-based services both indoors and outdoors with mandatory physical distancing and face coverings over both the nose and mouth that must be worn at all times while on site,” stated the county. ...

"True belief in the death, resurrection and ascension of Jesus Christ is supposed to equip the Christian to overcome fear. Yet it has seemed to me that the reaction of much of the church to a coronavirus with an Infection Fatality Rate of around 0.2% – 0.26%, has really been no different to that of the non-Christian...
But this is not the half of it. Fear of the virus has shaped the way many have responded to the most astonishing powers over churches for eight centuries. You have to go back to 1208 to see such a closure of churches, which was done by a Papal Interdict (interestingly enough on 23rd March – the same day as Lockdown began) which lasted for six years... I suspect that many of those same churches will be wringing their hands next year, as the policies they failed to challenge throughout this year come home to roost and we see untold misery coming upon millions, with the poorest suffering most. Jim/Lincoln wrote to cv,

"Quite true, CV, but for the matters of health that is a government responsibility."

You like quoting unconnected Bible verses, Jim. Could you provide one or two to cover your thoughts on the above?

"Should democrats try to force their kingdom on others?" ---NO!!

The Australian and English governments are globalist swamps owned by the pharma. The people in these countries are completely owned by this tyranny which you keep calling government.

The "government responsibilities" which you're having us to bow to, wants to take away liberty and force medical procedures on the people.

The pilgrims and puritans ran away from these government "responsibilities." Rightly so!

I am grateful for this ruling and for those churches who stood against the fines, orders, and threats of imprisionment.

Never mind Jim, CV. His false narrative isn't worth much, but he does provide an opportunity to hone arguments against the Progressive loberalist arguments.

The only "Dominionism" he's uncovered so far is himself and his sources who insist that Christians must knee at the feet of Reason. True Reason can only point to Christ. True Reason falls at His feet.

Romans 8:6-8

6. For the mind set on the flesh is death, but the mind set on the Spirit is life and peace,
7. because the mind set on the flesh is hostile toward God; for it does not subject itself to the law of God, for it is not even able to do so,
8. and those who are in the flesh cannot please God. --

Quite true, CV, but for the matters of health that is a government responsibility. as England is becoming aware of, and Australia already recognizes. I will give credit to a couple of conservative pastors in town here - - even if they didn't have people in their congregation get the virus from church attendance? - - they still knew people who have came down with the virus and may have been members of their churches. I can't help some of the greedy churches out in California who are paying more attention to paper money floating into their collection plates, rather than the health of the congregation; and just as importantly their congregations instead of going out and spreading the Word two people they are going out spreading viruses❗👎

Soros is no worse than David Koch who funded evolutionary programs on PBS, use discernment!

If there is illogical, or heavy-handed behavior going on, and it comes from authoritarians, and Jim hears about it, he’s consistently for it.

Firstly Jimmy, should you be forcing your morality on pastors?
"Should nonChristians try to force their kingdom on others?"---No
http://thekingsbible.com

Secondly, the BBC is left of even Sorros and Gates.
So yes, you would need a mask for what the BBC and CNN puts out!!

For those who still use their brains for thinking, and not for pushing globalist agendas, here's the 'skinny' on face masks...
cloth face coverings:
"Will not protect the wearer against airborne transmissible infectious agents due to loose fit and lack of seal or inadequate filtration".
Surgical masks:
"Should be placed on sick individuals to prevent the transmission of respiratory infections that spread by large droplets.
Will not protect the wearer against airborne transmissible infectious agents due to loose fit and lack of seal or inadequate filtration".- https://www.osha.gov/coronavirus/faqs#cloth-face-coverings
The jig is up, the news is out Jim L. Your elistist agenda is no longer believable.

Whee❗❗❗ whee

Yes, face masks could be handy indoors. Here this short video from the BBC that points that out.

"Covid-19: Can face masks make communal singing safer?"

https://www.bbc.com/news/av/uk-55414707

Yes, they would make singing a lot safer

When you have various pastors ignoring all the safety protocol that has already been mentioned, and denying even that the covid virus exists to any great extent---they should stick to religious matters
