LGBT leaders threaten to quit Church of England dialogue unless bishops support gay marriage
LGBT leaders and supporters in the Church of England are threatening a mass walkout from a recently-launched discussion process about sexual issues unless bishops give an urgent guarantee to support the marriage of same-sex partners in church.
The warning was issued in a joint letter sent to 34 bishops "known to be supporters of LGBTIQ+ people", among them the Archbishop of York and the Bishops of Oxford, Manchester, Leeds, Dover and Liverpool.
The letter was sent by Jeremy Timm, former chair of Changing Attitude England, and co-signed by a number of LGBT clergy and supporters, including Rev Colin Coward, founder of Changing Attitude England, the Very Rev Michael Sadgrove, Dean Emeritus of Durham, and Canon Jeremy Pemberton who previously brought a failed discrimination case against the Church of England over its same-sex marriage stance....

Fellow blood-washed and righteousness-imputed saint of the Most High God, yes indeed! I read through your post several times, as it is most important in the last days. There is such a thing as a gospel which is no gospel.
Justification is by faith alone, clearly.
Galatians 2:16 KJV (16)Â Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
A legalist will not accept that.
Galatians 2:17 KJV (17)Â But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is therefore Christ the minister of sin? God forbid.
An antinomian will not accept that.
Those who are truly justified will be made holy by the grace of God. This is basic teaching.

This is how the latter day churches will end up falling away, by watering down God's message to the world, and thereby preaching a false simplistic gospel with no commitment, no genuine God-given repentance, no turning away from sin, merely a 'join the club' scenario and have a great time, with BBQ's, superbowl church, get rich quick, and all that sort of nonsense. The falling away church must never think for one minute about self-sacrifice, or the great commission, or loving people. It must exist for its members and look after its members and keep its members happy. Be an all inclusive society. Don't talk about sin. Ignore the epistles of John. Ignore God's command to be holy as he is holy. Just do your own thing. Yes, antinomianism is more rampant than I thought. And they need to study up on what God thought of 'sin in the camp' in the OT, and then read Acts 5.

Good morning pilgrim. I'd never really thought about it, but it must be true. Well Frank, you and your buddy love calling others names, even though you both promote error, i.e., universalism, decisionism, and Arminianism, all of which proclaim a different gospel. antinomian [anti - law] - a person who maintains that Christians are freed from the moral law by virtue of grace as set forth in the gospel. From Websters - one who holds that under the gospel dispensation of grace the moral law is of no use or obligation because faith alone is necessary to salvation. - Actually, salvation is GRACE alone. Legalists are fixated on sexual sin as being 'the worst', GASP! Yet, they miss their own abomination of self righteousness, ' look at me, look how morally pure I am! The harlot, mystery Babylon is far worse. Spiritual idolatry is detestable to God. When He saves his elect **by grace**, they will flee sexual sin. But, not because they seem it necessary to be saved or stay saved. We know the letter kills, we know the law is simply the schoolmaster to drive us to Christ. We know God's standard is perfection, and we do not meet that. While you and your pilgrim continually try to exceed the righteousness of the Pharisees, the true Israel of God rest in Him, in His finished work. Imputed righteousness escapes you both... clanging cymbals abound here.

""LGBT leaders and supporters in the Church of England are threatening a mass walkout""
Great news!!
Lev 20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them."
Rom 1:25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. 26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: 27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another"
This part of the Church of England belongs to Satan and should go and join him.
