In his Sunday sermon, MacArthur said God‚Äôs judgment will fall on governments that block God‚Äôs will for the church: ‚ÄúWhen any government separates from God and his law in Scripture and from his people to his church it invites judgment on a personal scale and a national scale.‚ÄĚ
Further, he declared that ‚Äúthe notion of a secular state is a lie. Government is ordained by God‚ÄĚ and therefore should empower God‚Äôs will.
The one and ONLY thing I will ever agree with JMac on is this, 'there is no pandemic'. True, it has fizzled out, but this being an election year, the desperate Democrats must keep beating this dead horse in order to throw the election. Seems their sinister ways are being revealed more and more each day. "In Florida, for example, the number of deaths are falling. Although the media reports on the deaths by date reported, when looking at the data you can see that the deaths reported today were deaths that occurred weeks ago. This reporting skews the actual results. In Arizona, the number of COVID cases in ICU’s is at its lowest levels since April. Across the nation COVID is rapidly disappearing across the United States. With that said, America is a divided nation, divided over politics, religion, race. Thank God this world is not my home...

Instead of the unfocused generalities, how about providing the names of some of Grace Community's people who are forced to go there? How about just one one? But it's good to know you are concerned for those who are willing to risk living, Jim, though I haven't yet heard MacArthur has made attendance mandatory. Have you?

" The delusion into which the X. Y. The returning good sense of our country threatens abortion to their hopes, & they believe that any portion of power confided to me, will be exerted in opposition to their schemes. And they believe rightly; for I have sworn upon the altar of god, eternal hostility against every form of tyranny over the mind of man...."

Salvatore Joseph Cordileone, archbishop of San Francisco wrote: People can freely go to parks here, as long as they stay six feet apart. If they follow proper social distancing and wear masks, people can eat on an outdoor patio with no hard numerical limit. Indoor shopping malls are already open at 25 percent capacity.... .... Meanwhile, the scientific evidence from other jurisdictions is clear: These safeguards are working. As three infectious-disease specialists who reviewed the evidence on more than 1 million public Masses over the past few months concluded, there have been no documented outbreaks of covid-19 linked to church attendance in churches that follow the protocols. We have demonstrated that we know how to hold Mass safely. There is no reason not to allow us to put that knowledge into practice....

This Catholic Archbishop makes a much better case, for holding Mass indoors than John MacArthur does for his flaunting of safety protocols ‚Ěó ūüĎć
If he was willing to go to jail He would have done it.I
Unfortunately,He has been behaving like an old rich Republican, And has trumpian lawyers,To keep them out of jail. Also he is very particular about which since he wants to concentrate on. Lying is very definitely pointed out in the Bible. He does seem to ignore that in his Republican chums.
Lying lips are an abomination to Yahweh, but those who do the truth are his delight.

Weak attempt to cause doubt, Jim. He’s willing to go to jail for what he believes and is defending. Somehow it’s near impossible to visualize you doing the same.
6. But godliness with contentment is great gain. 7. For we brought nothing into the world, and we certainly can’t carry anything out. 8. But having food and clothing, we will be content with that. 9. But those who are determined to be rich fall into a temptation, a snare, and many foolish and harmful lusts, such as drown men in ruin and destruction. 10. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

Attending church services wasn’t considered flaunting until some judge flaunted his authority, then suddenly doing what you’ve always done becomes the flaunt. Gotta love the redefinition and reapplication.
