China Detains Christian For “Illegal Evangelism”
Chinese authorities have sentenced a Christian to 10 days of administrative detention for "illegal evangelism,” a well-informed advocacy group told Worthy News on Friday.

The man, Chen Wensheng, was seen “sharing his Christian faith” on the street in Hengyang city in Hunan province, confirmed ChinaAid, which represents reportedly persecuted Christians.

Shortly after his evangelism activists, he was taken into police custody this week, according to Christians familiar with the situation.

The man displayed a wooden cross that had "Glory to our Savior" and "Repent and be saved by faith alone" written on it, ChinaAid said. ...

Acts 4 and 5 detail the confrontation between the apostles, who had been preaching the Gospel in Jerusalem, and the religious leaders in Israel who tried to stop them. Acts 4:18 states, "And when they (the Sanhedrin) summoned them (the apostles), they commanded them not to speak or teach at all in the name of Jesus." This was a clear command to stop preaching the Gospel. Later in Acts 5, the religious leaders gave a similar command to the Apostles, "‘We gave you strict orders not to continue teaching in this name, and behold you have filled Jerusalem with your teaching, and intend to bring this man’s blood upon us’" (Acts 5:28). In both accounts the Apostles were forbidden to preach Christ. "But Peter and the apostles answered and said, "‘ We must obey God rather than men’" (Acts 5:29).

Psalms 73:19 How are they brought into desolation, as in a moment! they are utterly consumed with terrors.

The above is what the unsaved at the judgment of Christ will experience.

1 Peter 3:14 But and if ye suffer for righteousness' sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled;

The above is the way we “should” be when we experience terror in this lifetime. Easier said then done.
